Ed and Melissa Molyet named grand marshals
Destination Seneca County and the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 2024 Seneca County Halloween Parade, sponsored by Brian Bower – loanDepot, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. in downtown Tiffin.
Ed and Melissa Molyet, owners of Molyet’s Farm Market & Garden Center, have been selected as the grand marshals for this year’s parade.
In 1958, Paul and Eula Mae Molyet established Molyet’s Farm Market with a vision that combined family values with a commitment to their community. Their dedication laid the foundation for what would become a successful, long-standing business.
Today, their legacy is carried forward by Ed Molyet and his daughter, Melissa. Melissa has taken the lead in managing the family business, ensuring that Molyet’s Farm Market continues to provide the same high-quality products and customer service that have made it a staple in Seneca County for over six decades. The market remains dedicated to offering a diverse range of products, maintaining affordability, and delivering a welcoming experience to all customers.
Mayor Lee Wilkinson shared his support for this year’s grand marshals of the parade.
“I am very pleased with the selection of Ed Molyet and his daughter, Melissa, as the grand marshals of this year’s Halloween Parade,” Wilkinson said. “The Molyet family has been an integral part of our community for generations, through their dedication to Molyet’s Farm Market. They embody the values of hard work, family and service to others, making them the perfect representatives to lead this tradition. I am grateful for all they have done for Tiffin and look forward to celebrating with them in the parade.”
