Commissioners to host several officials for department updates
Commissioner Holly Stacy to attend her final meeting as member of board
[Tiffin, OH July 16, 2019] – The Seneca County Board of Commissioners is to meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at its office, 111 Madison St.
At the beginning of the meeting, Seneca County Juvenile and Probate Court Judge Jay Meyer will update the board. The department released its annual report last month. The entire report can be viewed here.
At about 10:30 a.m., Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services Director Kathy Oliver is to discuss placement costs with the commissioners.
At 11 a.m., Seneca Crawford Area Transportation Executive Director Mary Habig is scheduled to update the commissioners on her organization. She also is to discuss the re-designation of the organization, which occurs periodically and states that the agency complies with certain state and federal programs.
In old business, the board is to consider an updated Seneca County Museum Contract. The Museum Advisory Board has recommended some changes to the contract, which could be voted on Thursday.
The meeting also will mark Commissioner Holly Stacy’s final board session before she officially resigns from her position Friday. Stacy chose to resign because she has another career opportunity that she said she could not pass up. She has not yet announced what the new position is but said she would when she is authorized to do so.
Stacy took some time this week to reflect on her roughly six-and-a-half years as a commissioner. To see some of her thoughts, visit this link.
During resolutions, the commissioners are to consider:
* Establishing the Integrated Naloxone Access and Infrastructure Fund.
* Setting time, date and place to receive sealed bids for one 64-passenger yellow school bus on behalf of the Seneca County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
