FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Commissioner Frankart to join Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market, distribute activity books
This is an opportunity for market attendees to speak with the commissioner, and he will also be handing out Ohio Activity Books to children.
The activity books, paid for by Frankart, are packed with fun and interesting facts about the state of Ohio, coloring pages, crossword puzzles and matching games. The commissioner believes that these books are a great way to engage children while they learn about the state and the market.
“I am thrilled to join the Tiffin-Seneca Farmer’s Market and to share these activity books with our community,” said Commissioner Bill Frankart. “This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with our local farmers and producers and to support sustainable agriculture. I hope everyone who attends the market will stop by and say hello!”
Frankart will also be joined by Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce personnel who will have county coloring books and community guides available to the public.
The Tiffin-Seneca Farmer’s Market is located on Madison Street, in the same area as the commissioners’ office, and runs from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
According to the market’s website, its mission is to promote the exchange of fresh, quality, local food and agricultural products between the agricultural producers of Seneca County and its residents and visitors for the purpose of supporting local growers, providing a quality product to consumers and supporting sustainable agriculture.
