The NOAH Foundation connects local residents over Christmas dinner
By Sheri Trusty, Seneca County Media Relations Coordinator
Since 2007, the NOAH (No One Alone or Hungry) Foundation of Ohio has worked to ensure that everyone in Seneca County has a place at the table on Christmas. The foundation’s mission is to provide county residents with a free Community Christmas Day Dinner. Everyone is welcome.
The NOAH Foundation serves the dinner each year so no one is alone on Christmas. Among the crowd will be locals who are widowed, divorced or never married; senior citizens, students, and married couples with no family nearby; the unemployed and underemployed; and those who simply want to connect with others on Christmas.
The buffet-style dinner will feature roast turkey, honey-glazed ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, garden salad, dinner rolls and dessert.
The Community Christmas Day Dinner will be held on Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Camden Falls, 2460 South St. Rt. 231 in Tiffin. The meal is free and open to anyone. For reservations, call 419-455-4569.
