Seneca County Weights and Measures Inspector Ron Lutz (center) accepts an award for continuing education training last month

[Tiffin, OH, December 2, 2019] — Seneca County Auditor Julie Adkins announced today that the county’s weights and measures inspector was honored for successfully completing a statewide continuing education training course.
Weights and Measures Inspector Ron Lutz was given the award late last month during an awards ceremony held at the Ohio Department of Agriculture Division of Weights and Measures Training.
The ODA in cooperation with the County Auditor’s Association of Ohio (CAAO), who are dedicated to promoting uniformity in weights and measures and equity in the marketplace, presented certificates to participants in the ODAIW&M Training Course. The course was designed to provide comprehensive technical training in the area of weights and measures enforcement and administration.
Adkins commended Lutz for his hard work.
“Ron has done a great job in continuing his education as the Weights and Measures Inspector for Seneca County,” she said.
Lutz gave credit to Adkins for seeing the importance of training.
“Thanks to my supervisor, Auditor Adkins, for allowing me to attend ODA training each year,” he said. “With this award, Seneca County continues to have a certified person on staff to inspect weights and measures.”
