Commissioners help kick off the Christmas season at Holiday Tree Lighting Experience
By Sheri Trusty
Seneca County Commissioners Bill Frankart and Tyler Shuff were among the hundreds of people who packed downtown Tiffin for the 2023 Holiday Tree Lighting Experience on Dec. 1. The event included a visit from Santa, live music, and free cookies and hot chocolate. The lighting of the tree, which featured hundreds of ornaments created by local fifth graders, kicked off the Christmas season and marked the opening of the Kris Kringle Market.
Commissioner Frankart, who was joined by his wife, Janet Frankart, was among the guest speakers who helped launch Tiffin’s holiday season. Other speakers included Tiffin Mayor Dawn Iannantuono and Downtown Tiffin Main Street Manager Donna Gross. Marisa Stephens served as emcee. Stephens is the Stakeholder Relations & Marketing Manager for Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Destination Seneca County.
The event was a collaborative effort of Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce, Destination Seneca County and Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership.
Seneca County Commissioners Bill Frankart, Tyler Shuff and Anthony Paradiso wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season.
