Ohio State University Extension in Seneca and Crawford Counties are hosting a 3-part Nutrient Management Workshop to help farmers adapt to the tri-state recommendations. Participants are asked to bring a soil test or contact our office(s) to have one performed. After each session, experts will be available to answer questions and look over your farms’ nutrient management strategies to help make individualized recommendations. If all three sessions are attended, Certified Crop Advisor and Fertilizer Applicator credits are available. On November 7th, 2024, from 6-8pm at the Seneca County Extension office, the topic will be Soil Management Interactions with Nutrient Management. On December 12th, 2024, from 6-8pm at the Attica Fairgrounds, the topic will be Adapting the Tri-State P&K Recommendations to Meet Your Farm’s Goal. The last session will be January 9th, 2025, from 6-8pm at the Crawford County Extension office and the topic will be Nitrogen and Sulfur Management Options to Improve Profit.
