County to read proclamation for ODJFS Director of the Year Kathy Oliver

Commissioners also to discuss an upcoming community event and consider appropriations

[Tiffin, OH Dec. 17, 2018] – The Seneca County Board of Commissioners is to meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the commissioners’ office, 111 Madison St.
The meeting is schedule an hour later than usual because of a prior engagement that all three commissioners have.
At the beginning of the meeting, the board is to present a proclamation to Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services Director Kathy Oliver. Last Friday, Oliver was named Ohio Director of the Year by the Ohio Job and Family Services Directors’ Association.

In other business, the commissioners are to discuss a Feb. 5 Seneca County Community Council event.

During appropriations, the board is to consider:
* A $3,559.73 supplemental appropriation to the General Special Projects Fund for other expenses, equipment and contract services.
* A contract with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.. for general services at the Seneca County Airport in 2019.
* A change to a contract between the city of Tiffin and the Seneca County Prosecutor’s Office. The amendment increases the amount of the contract for 2019. The city of Tiffin pays the prosecutor’s office to administer a combined office for city and county prosecution services.
