[Tiffin, OH – July 28, 2023] — The Seneca County Museum will be temporarily closed to the public from July 31st to Aug. 5th. This brief closure is necessary to facilitate essential electrical work and upgrades.
The decision to temporarily close the museum was made with careful consideration for the safety and comfort of museum visitors. Theresa Sullivan, the Museum Director, expressed her enthusiasm for the improvements and their long-term benefits, stating, “We are excited for these upgrades that will significantly improve the museum’s infrastructure.”
The Seneca County Museum will reopen its doors and resume its regular weekly schedule, barring any construction setbacks, on Wednesday, August 9th, welcoming visitors from noon to 5 p.m. The museum’s regular operating hours are Wednesday-Saturday, also from noon to 5 p.m.
For any inquiries during the closure or for more information about exhibits and programs, please feel free to contact the museum at (419) 447-5955.
“We look forward to serving you better with these improvements and welcoming you back to the museum,” Sullivan said.
