Stemtown Historical Society will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Stemtown Museum on Thursday, April 4 at 5:15 p.m. The event will celebrate the museum’s opening at its new location at 111 South Kansas St. in Green Springs.
State Rep. Gary Click will speak at the event, and several dignitaries will be in attendance, including Seneca County Commissioner Bill Frankart, Green Springs Mayor Derek Knieriemen and Tiffin Mayor Lee Wilkinson.
A Grand Reopening of the museum will be held on Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include kids’ activities, food and a 50/50 raffle.
The Green Springs Fire Department will donate proceeds from its April 21 All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast to the museum. The breakfast, which runs 7:30 a.m. to noon, includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes or French toast. The donation will help fund the construction of a building to house the museum’s vintage hearse and fire truck.
