Seneca East hosts Veterans Appreciation Lunch & Assembly

ATTICA – Seneca County Commissioner Bill Frankart was grateful for the opportunity to attend the Veterans Appreciation Lunch & Assembly hosted by Seneca East School on Nov. 10. The event honored veterans and current military members and recognized their sacrifice and service to the nation. Local Vietnam Veteran Paul Jones shared a message of strength and hope with the student body.

“It was a fantastic event at Seneca East School celebrating the local veterans. Paul Jones had a heartfelt speech, and then Jim Alt and Jim Schumacher were honored as the 2023 Hometown Hero Gold Medal Award winners,” Frankart said. “It was an amazing event honoring the local veterans with the youth of the Seneca East School District. We are very grateful for those who have served to protect our freedoms.”
