Public Safety Building opens doors for visitors during Seneca County Fair

The public is invited to visit the Public Safety Building during the Seneca County Fair to learn about the people and organizations that keep the county safe. Visitors can meet Seneca County EMS personnel, local firefighters, Seneca County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) staff, the county’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and members of Seneca County ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service).

Local residents can sign up for the Seneca County Emergency Notification System that provides customized phone alerts. Participants can choose to receive alerts regarding general information or Public Service Announcements about a variety of things, including snow emergencies, road closures and community events.
