Commissioners work the polls on Election Day

By Sheri Trusty, Seneca County Media Relations Coordinator

Seneca County Commissioners Bill Frankart and Tyler Shuff, along with Commissioner Frankart’s wife, Janet Frankart, spent Election Day working the polls.

All three were grateful for the opportunity to serve the county on such an important day.

“Today was an extremely busy day as we worked as poll workers,” Commissioner Frankart said. “It definitely was great to see everyone exercising their right to vote. Everyone coming in was very respectful and grateful to have help through the process.”

The Frankarts and Shuff have worked on Election Day for many years.

“I’m honored to be a part of the local election process the past 12 years,” Shuff said. “We have amazing volunteers, poll workers and leadership at our board of elections. Seneca County is a model across Ohio, and Ohio is a leader across the country.”
