Adkins also welcomes a familiar face as the new CAAO executive director

[Tiffin, OH August 28, 2020] – County Auditors’ Association of Ohio President and Seneca County Auditor Julie Adkins announced the retirement of CAAO Executive Director Fran Lesser today.
Lesser’s last day with CAAO is to be Oct. 16 after a successful 25-year career with the organization.
Adkins said Lesser displayed a commitment and passion for serving the cause of auditors.
“Without question, Fran will be greatly missed,” she said.
Adkins said Lesser looks forward to more time with her husband, family and friends.
“She might even travel,” she said. “No doubt, she has earned this and we all hope she enjoys her retirement.”
With Lesser’s retirement, a familiar face will look to fill her shoes. The CAAO announced that Thomas P. Pappas, of Thomas P. Pappas and Associates, will now serve as executive director.
“Tom has a long history with the CAAO serving as our legislative counsel,” Adkins said. I’m excited for Tom to serve as executive director and I look forward to a long-lasting working relationship.”
