Find Absentee Ballot Applications in your mailbox

Ohio residents have three easy ways to vote in the Nov. 5 election: early in-person, absentee by mail, or in-person at their precincts on Election Day. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has made the process even easier by mailing Absentee Ballot Applications to all Ohio registered voters.

In August, LaRose mailed letters that detail the simple steps for absentee by mail voting. Included in the letter is an Absentee Ballot Application. It is necessary for Seneca County residents to submit the application to the Seneca County Board of Elections by Oct. 25. Once the form is submitted, the voter can track the secure processing of the request and ballot at www.VoteOhio.gov/Track.

In order for the application to be processed, all required information must be filled out, including the voter’s signature.

Seneca County registered voters who would rather vote early in-person should bring a current government-issued photo ID to the Seneca County Board of Elections office at 71 S. Washington St., Suite 1101, in Tiffin. Information on acceptable forms of identification can be found at www.VoteOhio.gov. Early voting is available beginning Oct. 8.
