Auditor to host a coloring contest for county children

The Seneca County Auditor’s Office has announced a contest for children that could earn their family a free dog license for 2019.
Auditor Julie Adkins said she is kicking off the 1st-annual dog licensing coloring contest. Students in grades pre-K through grade 1 are able to participate in the competition, which will be judged by Seneca County elected officials. The winning entry will receive the number one dog license for 2019.
Any student in Seneca County who meets the grade requirement are eligible to participate. If you would like to participate, please have students color the attached picture. Also attached is a sign-up page, which must be completed by a parent to participate in the contest. The deadline to submit entries for this contest is Nov. 28, with judging to occur the week of Dec. 3. The winning entry will be also be shared on the county’s social media and website.
