Commissioners launch Seneca County Video Tour

Commissioners launch Seneca County Video Tour Wednesday

[Tiffin, OH – Jan. 11, 2023] — The Seneca County Board of Commissioners has launched a new video series that showcases the atmosphere, development and sense of community within the county.

The video program, a collaborative effort between Seneca County and CGI Digital, aims to welcome and attract new residents and employees by highlighting everything the community has to offer. The video tour includes segments on workforce development and job opportunities, collaboration efforts between the city and county, education for all ages, county parks and recreation and a welcome video featuring the Seneca County Commissioners.

“We feel like we’re a community full of opportunity, and that there’s something for everyone,” said Jimmy Flint, county public relations director. “We’re business-friendly, crime is low, cost of living is low and it’s a great place to raise a family.”

The tour includes scenic shots from areas all across the county. All videos are now available to view on senecacountyohio.gov. The video tour was produced without any cost to taxpayers, as local businesses bought sponsorships through CGI Digital to enhance their online presence. The videos are available on the county website’s home page.

“We’re very proud of our community and what we have to offer, and we would love for more people to work, live and invest in Seneca County,” Flint said.

Planning for the series began in June, and filming started in  September.

The Seneca County Commissioners invite everyone to visit senecacountyohio.gov to view the video tour and learn more about the area’s attractions, quality of life, economic development and more.

CGI Digital, which is headquartered in Rochester, New York, has a nationwide platform of employees, including several Ohio-based videographers who worked closely with the county and the business on the project. CGI Digital has collaborated with many other local counties and cities such as Sandusky County, Lima, Medina, Ottawa, Port Clinton, Wauseon, Massillon and more.
