Marinis named winner of county auditor’s coloring contest!

Niko Marinis, 7, a first-grade student at Calvert Elementary School, has been named the winner of the Seneca County Auditor’s Office coloring contest. Marinis and his family will receive the first dog tag of 2019! Students in grades pre-K through grade 1 were able to participate in the competition, which was judged by Seneca County elected officials. More than 100 entires were received for the contest!

Be sure to stop in to the auditor’s office to get your dog tags for 2019. Licensing your dog is required by law and may ensure your pet will be returned if lost. Renewal forms were mailed to county pet owners this month. Jan. 31 is the final day to renew dog tags before fines are possible.
