Seneca County Commissioner Bill Frankart was a guest panelist at Tiffin University’s LIFE@TU program, “Difficult Conversations: Respectful Politics,” held in the Gillmor Student Center’s Osceola Theatre on Oct. 13. The event was designed to bring together elected officials from both ends of the political spectrum for a discussion on the impact of bi-partisan efforts in the legislative sphere.

“Difficult Conversations: Respectful Politics” was moderated by Dr. John Millar, Emeritus Professor of Management, Dean Emeritus. The other panelists were State Rep. Gary Click, Tiffin City Law Director Brent Howard and Tiffin Mayor Dawn M. Iannantuono. Panelists answered questions on topics such as officials’ efforts toward creating a just and respectful society and the important legislative issues they will tackle in the next few years.

LIFE@TU is the university’s non-credited, lifelong learning program. The program is open to adults 50 and over who want to learn more about a variety of subjects, including history, science, arts and culture. For more information, visit tiffin.edu/academics/lifetu/.
